Recently an elegant study was completed by the London School of Economics and in the study they clearly defined the condom as the most effective and efficient product to reduce green house gases. Its clear that if we help in reducing over population, we significantly reduce green house gases. Length: To achieve the optimal benefits of the Pleasure Fit Design. Length and width is a critical factor, self determined by the user. Each Naked condom is uniquely manufactured with the width changing from roughly 45 millimeters to 49, 52, 54 and 57 millimeters wide at the base of the condom. We call this constricted base the Safety Seal to prevent slippage and leakage. The larger portion of the condom and the Safety Seal together creates the Pleasure Fit Design, which allows for a more fluid movement of the latex. Each condom width has a corresponding change of length from 170 millimeters long and getting longer in length as the width gets larger, extending up to approximately 210 millimeters, as the largest size available in the United States.
Naked spent over three years in research and development designing the foil and machine to manufacture the best condom foil in the world. The challenge of the Naked team was to eliminate the unpleasant design found on standard condoms and to allow the foil to tear easily from either direction while maintaining the integrity of the packaging according to ISO and FDA and the highest worldwide standards and lastly, make the foil appealing but strong enough to maintain the safety of the condom. Six layers of foil are used so that they protect, tear and feel perfect. You'll feel the difference in your fingers...and your toes. With that attention to detail, imagine what we did for what's inside.
Highest Standards Possible
Manufacturing and receiving FDA approval for a condom may be the most complicated process in the world, for a device with no moving parts...
We're tougher than the FDA, so when our product is picked up to run through the gamut of FDA testing, we aren't concerned. Naked standards are higher than regulating bodies and the industry as a whole. We triple test every condom at the factory before it's shipped.
You wouldn't think it to look at them but condoms have to withstand quite a lot. The FDA oversees everything from latex formation down to every single word used for the final packaging on the box.
We say Sex is better Naked because the whole point of wearing a condom is to not worry...about anything.
Step 1Electrical Test
Each individual condom is subjected to an electrical test, where it is placed over a metal cylinder and checked for damage or production faults under high tension. This ensures that faulty specimens are discovered immediately and separated out accordingly. Spot endurance tests are also carried out on every production batch to ensure that quality standards are maintained.
Step 2Leak Tightness
One thing is certain - a condom must remain leak tight. To ensure that the latex skin is completely leak tight the condom is filled with an electrolytic solution and then dipped into a tank also filled with electrolytic solution. An electric bolt is then applied to the liquid inside and outside the condom. If the material has even the smallest amount of damage, the electric current flows through the condom and is registered and reported immediately by a sensitive measuring device.
In the laboratory, the condom is filled with air until it bursts. To pass the test, the condom must have reached a volume roughly 1000 times what it would normally be expanded to. Condoms are continually spot checked all the way through customs, FDA and to the final destination, always concerned that each box is perfect for you.
